Point Nemo

Rendez-vous Bundesplatz - Bern (CH)

Named after Jules Verne's Nautilus captain, Point Nemo, the pole of inaccessibility located in the South Pacific, is the furthest point from any land.  The story, conceived by Lumine, pays homage to Jules Verne's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. The Nautilus, Jules Vernes' submarine, leads the audience at Bern's Bundesplatz through the fascinating world of the deep sea with poetry and imaginative scenes. The 12th Rendez-vous Bundesplatz took place from 22 October to 26 November 2022 and was visited by 449,000 people. The animations were realised with the support of Patrick Kong, Dirk Pfeifer and Haselbusch.
