The projection installation ‘Raum’ (Space) used a stereoscopic technique in which the spatial depth effect is created by wearing coloured filter glasses. For this purpose, 3D glasses were provided to visitors free of charge.

The centrepiece of the production was St. Martin's Church in Kaufbeuren, where a section of the exterior façade was transformed into an artistic display using 3D projections, light and sound. The elements of the building were highlighted by means of a video projection precisely adapted to the architecture. Gables, windows and figures emerged from their rigid form and were presented in a weightless display, while wall elements dissolved and opened up the space. The content was created in collaboration with the following artists: Patrick Kong (animation & sound production), Dirk Pfeifer (animation) and Alireza Mokarram (animation & sound – ‘Microstructures’ section).
